Natalie & Austin and some of their friends talked Dad into saddling up one of the horses the other day and leading them
around the yard. Natalie really wanted her friend Caitlin to ride
a real horse because they are always pretending their
bikes are horses. Everyone had lots of fun, thanks Dad!!
Austin hunting for grasshoppers in the hay stack, he hasa bug catcher full of grasshoppers and one praying mantis.
Every few days the praying mantis eats one of the grasshoppers.
Gross! He thinks it's pretty cool. Boys are so crazy.

So Fun! We're jealous. My kids (well mostly Payton) loves horses and we don't ever get to do that (hint hint!) What a good dad to go to all that work to take the kids on a ride! Giddey up!

I always wondered what praying mantis's eat! They always just sit there and make me nervous. If they eat grasshoppers isn't that like eating a cousin? Ew.
