Memorial Weekend

We spent memorial day weekend camping and had a good time together. The kids loved every minute of it. We were sitting around the fire Sunday night talking and Austin was telling all kinds of stories. It looks like he inherited Danny's B.S. skills. He told us that when he was a baby he got his first BB gun and killed a bear, my Dad said wow I was 12 before I shot my first bear. Oh, I was 8 months, Austin said. Looks like Makenna better hurry up! Gram was telling Austin about when she shot a pot-gut and Austin was soaking it all in. Later he was re-telling her story and said "Gram shot Pop in the gut" everyone was laughing when we realized how he had interpretted her story.
Austin and Natalie played, explored, shot cans with BB guns (Natalie is a good shot), and hunted for lizards, bugs and horny toads.
Austin caught this giant horny toad, they named him Spike. Natalie caught 2 lizards and gave one to Austin, they named them Lizzy and Bullseye. We were able to talk Austin into leaving the horny toad, but came home with the lizards.
Makenna in her playpen jail, camping is kind of hard for babies who
want to crawl in the mud and have Moms that won't let them.
Sisters swinging in the hammock,
and of course Riding 4-wheelers!
Even though there was some rain, it was nice to get away and spend time together.

Welcome Spring!!

We are loving the nice weather!! I think Spring is finally here. I love the mid 70 temps we have had the last few days, and the rain every few days has been nice too. It keeps the grass looking so pretty and green. The kids had fun taking pictures yesterday around the yard of all the things they love about Spring! They wanted me to put some of their pics on the Blog.

Austin's Preschool Graduation

Austin's preschool had their graduation last night. They all looked so cute in their caps and gowns. They each got a "busy bee" trophy with their name on it. We are so proud of our little preschool graduate!
