My Mom, Shane, Emily and her boys came to watch the parade with us. We had a nice shady spot and as usual, there was plenty of candy for all!!

Natalie was in the parade this year for cheerleading. Terrible picture I know, but she is in the back of that truck. She saved up her candy to throw to us!

We will miss all of these fun summer activities when school starts! It really snuck up on me this year and I'm not ready for summer to be over yet!!

14 year Anniversary

On August 16, 1996, Danny and I were married. That was 14 years ago!! Doesn't that make us sound really old?? I think so, but time flies when you're havin fun!

We celebrated our anniversary yesterday by driving up to Provo River Falls and the Mirror Lake highway.

The scenery was great and so was the compay! I have to admit it was a bit strange to be able to talk to eachother without hearing screaming, crying and fighting coming from the backseat.
Thanks to my Mom & Dad for tending the kiddos so we could spend the day together!

Provo River Falls is really pretty. We had driven past it before but had never seen it up close.

We ended our day with lunch at a yummy Mexican restaurant in Heber. It was a great day!

Crazy Summer!!

It's been awhile since I've had any time to blog. It's been a fun, crazy, hot, summer!! Here are some of the things we've been up to lately. We've also spent lots of time at the pool and been camping a few times, but I never remember my camera. I'll let the pictures do the talking...

Austin loves fireworks!! He and Danny gave us all a great show for 3 nights in a row. Their favorite part was putting those little popper things on the road and laughing when cars would run them over. Then some people on bikes came by and a guy on a 4-wheeler and they almost died laughing (so did I).

Camping Fun...Finally!!

The weather finally cooperated and we were able to go camping for longer than just an afternoon! Here's a sample of some of the fun!

Austin's Preschool Graduation

My little boy is growing up way to fast!! He graduated from preschool this week and will be going to kindergarten in the fall. It seems like it was only yesterday that I couldn't leave the house for 6 months because he would never stop crying as a baby. Now he is the most easy-going kid around. He has changed a lot in the last year and has learned a lot! He is so excited to start kindergarten.
Here is Austin with his buddy Rylan. They have been in preschool together for 2 years and will be going to kindergarten together in the fall.
Austin and his teacher Ms. Brenda. She is a great teacher and lucky for us lives just down the street.
Natalie, Austin, Mom and Makenna after graduation. Natalie missed a couple hours of school to come see Austin graduate. Danny wasn't able to come because it was early in the day so Natalie videotaped it for him. Danny told Austin to sing really loud so he could hear him on the tape and boy did he listen!! He was singing/yelling some of the songs super loud. It was funny!

Gram and Pop were able to come too, which made Austin (and Makenna) really happy!

Congrats Austin!! We are proud of you!!
