We spent memorial day weekend camping and had a good time together. The kids loved every minute of it. We were sitting around the fire Sunday night talking and Austin was telling all kinds of stories. It looks like he inherited Danny's B.S. skills. He told us that when he was a baby he got his first BB gun and killed a bear, my Dad said wow I was 12 before I shot my first bear. Oh, I was 8 months, Austin said. Looks like Makenna better hurry up! Gram was telling Austin about when she shot a pot-gut and Austin was soaking it all in. Later he was re-telling her story and said "Gram shot Pop in the gut" everyone was laughing when we realized how he had interpretted her story. 
Austin and Natalie played, explored, shot cans with BB guns (Natalie is a good shot), and hunted for lizards, bugs and horny toads.
Austin caught this giant horny toad, they named him Spike. Natalie caught 2 lizards and gave one to Austin, they named them Lizzy and Bullseye. We were able to talk Austin into leaving the horny toad, but came home with the lizards. 
Makenna in her playpen jail, camping is kind of hard for babies who want to crawl in the mud and have Moms that won't let them.

Even though there was some rain, it was nice to get away and spend time together.

Wow! Looks like fun! Tori will be so jelous -- all that girl talks about is camping and of course we never go! She'll have to be satisfied with girls camp in June. Loved Austin's story, what a cutie!
